Howard Stern and Jackie Martling worked together for over 15 years on The Howard Stern Show, which was a popular radio show that aired from 1986 to 2005. Martling served as the show's head writer and became known for his comedic contributions, including his jokes and musical performances. Martling and Stern had a close friendship and often collaborated on comedy projects outside of the radio show. However, in 2001 Martling abruptly left the show due to a contract dispute, which caused a rift in their relationship. Despite their disagreement, Martling has said that he is grateful for the opportunity that Stern gave him and still has fond memories of their time working together.
